What we do with your data, and what we don't.
Short, because we process very little personal data.
No cookies, no ad code. Just an anonymous counter.
This site sets no cookies and contains no third-party analytics or ad code. Nothing tracks who you are.
- What we do use: a few display preferences kept in your own browser's storage. They stay on your own device and never reach us.
- What we do use: an anonymous counter on our own server. Each day it counts how often a button is clicked or a form is submitted, on which page, and which website a visitor came from. Without a cookie, without an IP address and without anything that lets us recognize you.
- Our hosting provider keeps technical log entries, as every server does, in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
What you enter reaches our inbox through our own mail server.
There are three forms: the contact form, the Business Health Check and, on our Thiery & Pierce Marketing site, the Content scan. What you enter goes from your browser to our own mail server at Cloudflare. That server sends it by email through Resend to our inbox at Google Workspace, and sends you a confirmation. Nothing is stored in a database on this site.
- Contact form: your name, your email address, your company if you enter it, and your message
- Business Health Check: your name, your email address, your company, your industry, your city and your answers to the questions
- Content scan: your name, your email address, your website, your industry, your customers, your service area and which channels you use
- We only use that information to answer your question or send you the results of your scan
- We don't share it with third parties for their own use and we do not add you to a mailing list
- To prevent abuse, the server briefly counts how many messages arrive from the same IP address. That count is deleted after one minute
- If it doesn't lead to us working together, we delete the message no later than twelve months after our last contact
We only manage our own pages.
We manage our pages on LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok through our own integration. It only publishes a post after one of us has approved it, and it retrieves the figures for our own posts.
- What we see: the statistics for our own pages (reach, views, clicks) as totals, and the comments under our own posts, with the name the platform shows alongside them
- What for: to manage our pages and to reply to people who respond to us. We write the replies ourselves
- How long: we keep comments and the accompanying name outside the platform for no more than 48 hours, and other profile data for no more than 24 hours. After that they exist only on the platform itself
- What we do not do: view or collect profiles, combine data with other sources, or use it for sales or to approach people
- The platform and we are jointly responsible for a page's statistics. You can put a question about this to us and we will pass it on to the platform
The parties that make it possible.
Cloudflare
Delivers this site and protects it against abuse. In doing so it processes technical data such as your IP address.
Google Workspace
Our business email. If you send us a message, that is where it arrives.
Resend
Sends the emails generated by the forms: your inquiry to us, and the confirmation to you. This company is based in the United States.
LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
The platforms that host our pages. They provide the statistics and the comments on our own posts, and are themselves responsible for what happens on their platform.
Who we are. Thiery & Pierce, registered with the KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) under number 42166690.
Your rights. You may ask which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. One email to info@thierypierce.nl is enough. If you cannot resolve the matter with us, you can turn to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Visitors in the US: we don't sell or share your personal information. You can ask us what we hold, or ask us to delete it, at info@thierypierce.nl.
Why we're allowed to do this, and where it goes.
- FormsWe use your information to answer your question or put together a proposal: that's necessary to be able to enter into an agreement with you (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)).
- Anonymous counter and securityOur legitimate interest: knowing which pages work and protecting the site against abuse (Article 6(1)(f)). Nothing in it lets us identify you.
- Outside the EUResend, which sends the emails from the forms, is based in the United States. That transfer happens with the safeguards the GDPR requires. We'll send you the specifics on request.
Are you a client? If we process data for your business, for example in an AI system or a CRM, we sign a separate data processing agreement for it. It lists the services we use, where the data is stored and how long we keep it.
